Avant toute chose, laissez moi vous dire que ce Top Ten est le pire des Top Ten jamais inventé. Genre à quel moment je n’ai que 10 citations favorites à vous présenter? J’en ai au moins un millier en tête là! C’est carrément cruel de ne m’autoriser à en partager que si peu.
Mais bon, c’est le jeu. C’est donc parti pour la liste de mes 10 citations livresques préférées. Snif…
Oh et oui, elles sont toutes en anglais oups! La langue de Shakespeare me parle mille fois plus que le français pour ce genre de choses. Du coup si vous voulez une traduction, n’hésitez pas à me la demander en commentaire! :*
1. Queen Rowling forcément.

Inutile de vous préciser que j’ai pleuré toutes les larmes de mon corps à cet aveu de Rogue et que je pleure encore à chaque fois que je la lis. Il y a une centaine d’autres citations incroyables auxquelles je tiens particulièrement dans l’univers d’Harry Potter mais celle-là reste de loin ma préférée.
2 et 3. La championne de la romance toute catégorie confondue.

CoHo est juste exceptionnelle lorsqu’il s’agit de balancer des punchlines qui te brisent le coeur en mille morceaux. Je suis absolument fan de ses mots et cette auteure parvient toujours à me surprendre à chacune de ses nouvelles oeuvres. Autant de talent ne devrait pas être permis, je vous jure.
4. La phrase qui a marqué mon adolescence.

Le fameux “Je suppose qu’un feu qui brûle aussi fort n’est pas fait pour durer.” de notre cher et tendre Tobias. Je ne compte pas vous spoiler mais pour ceux qui l’ont lu, vous savez parfaitement ce qui se passe à la fin du troisième tome de la saga Divergente. Je crois n’avoir jamais autant pleurer en lisant un chapitre. C’était tout simplement horrible. Horriblement beau et puissant mais horrible quand même. J’ai une boule au ventre rien que d’y repenser.
5. Ces mots qui ne parlent qu’à moi…

Certains poèmes de Rupi Kaur font énormément écho en moi. Celui-là en particulier m’a fait beaucoup penser à quelqu’un que j’ai perdu et je le trouve en plus magnifique de simplicité.
6. Une des plus belles déclarations d’amour de tous les temps (quand on est branché Star Wars bien sûr).

Je suis tombée littéralement amoureuse d’Aaron à la page 272 d’Unravel Me. Pourquoi me direz-vous? Je pense que cette citation suffit à elle seule à vous expliquer à quel point cet homme est PARFAIT.

Il y a bien plus de citations que je retiens de cette trilogie, l’une des plus chères à mon coeur de lectrice, mais je n’ai pas la force d’en mettre plus. Sans mentir, je viens de toutes les passer en revue et je suis en train de pleurer à m’en arracher le coeur. La fin de Champion m’a détruite autant que construite, je crois que je n’aurai jamais les mots pour vous l’expliquer. June et Day ont été des personnages qu’il a été absolument atroce de quitter. Et ils me manquent un peu chaque jour qui passe.
J’espère avoir un jour la force de relire ces trois merveilleux romans et en VO cette fois ❤

J’ai découvert la plume de Queen V en début d’année et elle s’est rapidement imposée comme l’une de mes nouvelles auteures préférées. Je me suis même faite tatouer Anoshe sur le bras pour tout vous dire, je pense que ça souligne bien l’engouement!

Mais celle-ci résume tout. J’ai laissé un bout de mon âme à Feyre et Rhysand en refermant ces livres. Et je ne le regretterai jamais.
